Chad was born and raised on beautiful Cape Breton Island, where athletics, team

sports, and a family of entrepreneurs helped him develop the life skills necessary to

succeed on the path of life and, become a golf professional. Chad has always

connected deeply to his roots. Family, community, and faith are at the core of who he

is. Chad, his wife, Leanne, and their family, share a journey centered around health,

perseverance, and supporting one another to be the best version of themselves.

The game of golf has provided Chad with a platform to build relationships, provide

leadership, and motivate students to celebrate their successes. Chad wants to

introduce the game of golf and its inherent values to all levels. He believes “this game

is for everyone!” and his goal is to help shape the lives of golfers from all demographics,

by reinforcing values like integrity, respect, and diversity.

Chad is passionate about Junior development, beginner golf, women’s golf, students

with autism, and teaching the game from the green to the tee box. Chad will teach you

how to practice with purpose, to manage expectations, and support you to reach your

full potential.

Chad won the 2022 Kananaskis Pro-am, is the recipient of the 2022 Junior Leader of

the Year award, and has spent 8-years in golf operations in a variety of roles, including,

Head Golf Professional and General Manager. Chad achieved his Class A status with

the PGA of Canada in 2021 and is very proud to have played in over 10 professional

events.
